In this webinar, I go into how attachment/clinging is the root of many of our problems — from habit difficulties to procrastination to relationship frustrations — and explore the idea of a mind that clings to nothing.
I’ve broken this webinar recording into two parts:
- Part I – My Talk: A Mind That Clings to Nothing (See notes)
- Part II – Questions & Answers: I answered some really great questions from some amazing people, please watch!
Part I: Leo’s Talk (with notes)
- Problem: we feel anxiety, frustration, disappointment when things don’t go the way we hope them to
- Habits: this creates a difficulty where we don’t do well with the habit, or it doesn’t go as we’d like, but then we get discouraged, beat ourselves up, and stop
- Instead, we could just learn from it & start again
- Relationships: we get frustrated with someone and then we hold that in
- There’s nothing to cling to
- A mind that clings to nothing – rests in the openness of this moment
- Notices when it’s clinging, and has compassion
- Let’s go, and opens to what’s in this moment
- Finding gratitude for what’s here
- Savoring the openness & sacredness & interconnectedness of the moment
