Let’s continue Week 4 of the Balance Work & Rest Advanced Challenge.
- Difficulties in creating rest and balance.
- Feeling that it is not ok – whatever we do. It comes from the fear that is trained in us.
- Give yourself full permission to want/need what you want/need. Own it.
- Give yourself full permission to rest and take care of yourself.
- Give yourself full permission to ask for what you need.
- Give yourself full permission to set boundaries.
- Practice as if you have pull permission from the world.
- Other obstacle is that people will push back.
- The best thing to do is to trust this person their reactions. It just means they have a reaction.
- You will not get everything you need /want every time.
- The best thing to do is to ask yourself if you are willing to be ok with this, like this and without getting what you need.
- It is ok for people to have their reactions. Be curious and compassion but without need to control it.
- Last obstacle here is that we can’t enjoy. We don’t know how to.
- What we can do is keep practicing, keep exploring, keep bringing curiosity to it.
- Keep practicing without judgment. Find the new way to play with it.
